Winchester Honor’s Our Military
Winchester Honor’s Our Military
The City of Winchester would like to invite you and your family to the City Park on Saturday, July 21st at 5:00 pm to honor our military. A short program will begin at 5:00 p.m. immediately followed by a reception in the Citizens Pavilion. There will be children’s games, blow ups, and train rides. Music in the Park will be provided by Franklin County Kiwanis Club and will begin at 7:00 with the Tyler Nixen Band from Georgia. This is a great opportunity to show your appreciation for our past and present military personnel. Bring the family and enjoy the entire evening. We will have a drop off area for items to send over seas to our adopted unit and our local soilders. Please bring items that will keep for a few months. Lip Balm, Tabasco Sauce, Beef Jerky (no pork products allowed), Games, Bottled Water Supplements such as Crystal Light/Power Aide, etc. For additional information contact the good folks at City of Winchester or you can call 931-967-2532 Ext. 109.
